To keep a WordPress site running at its optimal speed, it is important to keep the WordPress core and the plugins being used up to date. Many times throughout month, either the core or a plugin will issue an upate that either closes a security hole or improves its performance and you need to update them to stay current.

The single largest reason a WordPress site will get hacked is because the owner of the site never updated it. The WordPress core is always releasing updates to improve and patch security holes so if your site is running a version of WordPress that is several years old, then it's just a matter of time before it gets hacked. Once a site is hacked, it then becomes more expensive to recover from the hack and then secure the site.

More often than not, upgrading goes without a problem however there those times when udpating can cause issues that will crash your site. For those that don't feel comfortable doing the udpates or just don't have the time and are busy focusing on their business, we offer a monthly solution to let you rest easy know your site will always be current and up to date.

If it has been a while since your site has been updated, we will first analyze it to determine whether or not updating might break the current theme. We always do a backup prior to updating so that should a problem arise, we can revert back to the old site and then develop a plan for you to move forward. In those cases, it might be necessary to use a different theme if the current theme is not compatible with the newer version of Wordpress.

This monthly service is $50 per month and billed on a recurring subscription through Pay Pal.
