Tempe Kia
Arizona Experience Gone Good!!!
This is the chronicle of my personal experience with Tempe Kia in Arizona located in the Arizona Auto Mall on Elliot and the Freeway. This is not to be confused with my horrible experience with Desert Kia.
What a difference going to a different dealership makes!
March 17, 2006 the family and myself were looking at new cars in the Arizona Auto mall. I had found a Toyota Matrix that I really liked and had decided that was the car I wanted. But, to keep the peace with the wife, I agreed to look at other cars.
After finding nothing I really liked, she suggested we look at a KIA. While I already own an early model KIA, after my last experience with them at Desert Kia, I was not really keen on the idea of going into a KIA dealership. My wife persisted so just to shut her up I gave in but said I'm not test driving anything and I will never buy a KIA.
We get into the lot and Mark Retherford came out to greet us. We told him we were interested in looking at some Sportages. He was very polite and courteous and not pushy at all as some car sales people can be at times.
It's been a few years since I've really looked at the Sportage and I must say the moment I saw the car, I immediately liked it. Then, when I opened the hood and saw the V6, I knew this is the vehicle I wanted. It sits higher since it is an SUV and that is very appealing to me. The test ride sealed the deal.
I must of been a dream customer because Mark really did not have to do any sales on me. He did go over the finer points of the car with me and was very knowledgeable about the car which impressed me.
They gave me a fair amount for my older trade and some good discounts so we went ahead and made the deal.
I'm now driving a new 2006 Kia Sportage V6 LX and would have no problem recommending the team at Tempe Kia to anybody looking for a car. At no time did they try and play the key game with me like they did at Desert Kia.
If your looking to have a good sales experience by an informed polite sales staff, then Tempe Kia is the place to go. |
